The EMCA
and the Magelis hub
The School of Animation Film Crafts (EMCA) is a Chamber of Commerce and Industry School from Charente created in 1999 as part of the implementation of public economic development policies to support the development of animation studios in the region. The school has been supported by the Pôle Image Magelis since its inception.
The Magelis Image Hub also offers training programmes, grouped under the name Campus of Image, which covers many image areas and promotes relationships and mutual enrichment between the different higher education institutions.
The EMCA operates within this privileged framework.

The Steering Committee
In order to establish ongoing dialogue with the profession, the EMCA has set up an Orientation Committee bringing together the directors of animation studios in the region, representatives from the Pôle Image Magelis, and the CCI. This Committee is responsible for supporting the school in its strategic directions:
